Deliveries and Shipments

The conditions of these regulations are preliminary to the use of the " Online Purchases " service on our site.

SHIPPING OF FURNITURE, FURNISHING ACCESSORIES AND ART

First of all, it is useful to clarify that shipping Antiques, Modern Design and Art objects or furnishings requires a series of slow and delicate operations. That's why in some cases, delivery may not be timely.
The costs necessary for the shipment of the goods are calculated on the actual size of the objects and their destination.
We use the main couriers on the market (such as FedEx , Brt , DHL and SDA ), trusted shippers or we deliver personally.
Delivery - unless otherwise agreed - is intended outside the home by truck (ie, as per the contract, the courier is not required to unload the goods); any deliveries with tail lift (to bring the object to road height) will be agreed upon during the purchase with our customer assistance.

Generally, except where explicitly stated, shipping costs are free !
However, you can check whether or not the shipping costs are indicated in the product catalogue, while the rest of the services can be viewed during the purchase confirmation phase.
The carrier will arrange the delivery directly with the customer by telephone.
Our shipments always include packaging which is carried out in any case.
Shipments are made only after payment has been registered.
(In case of bank transfer it takes four/five working days).
The time necessary for a payment to be credited is not attributable to the delay in shipment.
Once the payment operations for the product itself and for the ancillary services, if foreseen and agreed, have been carried out, we undertake to deliver the packaged product to the carrier as quickly as possible.
We do our best to ensure that the products arrive in the best conditions but we cannot be held responsible for any damage deriving from any delay during transport.
We ask the customer to indicate a delivery address where someone is always present (including a workplace, a neighbor, etc.), and a telephone number where it is always available. In case of non-delivery, the courier may contact you or leave a ticket with the instructions to follow.

SHIPPING

For our online sales services, our company makes use of the qualified services of Italian and foreign shippers .

Shipping in Italy

Shipping with own courier

Each customer is free to evaluate the possibility of choosing his own trusted forwarder. In this case we can provide a discount on the order, to be agreed with customer assistance, but the organization of the shipment remains and is the responsibility of the customer.


SHIPPING ABROAD

Please make the purchase on the site pertaining to your country or contact our customer service: assistenzaclienti@dimanomano.it
Also in case of purchase by an Italian customer but with a request for shipping abroad, you must contact our customer assistance to define the total costs of the purchase (product cost + shipping to foreign countries).

SHIPPING IN ITALY ONLINE LIBRARY

For all products in the Online Library we will use the SDA or BRT courier for the national territory.

Normally for orders placed before 10.00 (on a working day) we are able to prepare the shipment on the same day.
The shipping services we have chosen are able to deliver to the customer's address within 24/48 hours.
We ship only to Italy, San Marino and the Vatican City, while for all other countries, please make the purchase on the site pertaining to your country or contact our customer assistance: assistenzaclienti@dimanomano.it

The cash on delivery service provides for a surcharge of €4.00 including VAT on the shipment.

For orders over 5kg the costs will be increased according to the weight, and in this case you will be contacted by our customer service to agree on the actual purchase and shipping cost of the product.
The cash on delivery service is €4, subject to surcharges depending on the weight exceeding 5kg.


PACKAGING METHODS

Given the material handled, the Di Mano in Mano staff pay particular attention to the packaging methodologies .

These methodologies require different processes depending on the object, which affect both the timing (maximum fifteen additional days) and the shipping costs .

Depending on the type of object to be shipped, a different packaging method will be opted for, which may vary from a single wrap with bubble wrap or cardboard to more complex, stacked and boxed wraps.
The packaging will take place after dismantling the object, where possible.
Packing material is non-returnable.
The operation will conclude with labeling and transport documentation.


WITHDRAW

Upon acceptance of the request for collection of your purchase, our customer assistance will agree on the conditions for the collection of the goods according to what will have been indicated in the request email.


Pick up times and place

The collection of the goods will be made at our delivery warehouse in Cambiago (Mi) Via XXV Aprile 57 no later than 15 days from our acceptance of your purchase request.
The collection will be agreed with an appointment and can be made:

  • from Monday to Friday: from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 15.30
  • Saturday: from 9.00 to 12.30.

Collection in person

It is possible to collect the goods in person at our delivery warehouse in Cambiago (Milan) Via XXV Aprile 57 no later than 15 days from our acceptance of your request.
The collection will be agreed with an appointment and can be made:

  • from Monday to Friday: from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 15.30
  • Saturday: from 9.00 to 12.30.

In any case no later than 15 days from our acceptance.
Even by agreeing to pick up in person, payment must be made according to the conditions set out in payments.

In any case, the packing will take place only in the face of prior communication.

Collection by courier

If you send your courier , at the time of collection he is required to check the suitability of the goods and the packaging where requested.
If the carrier does not deem the shipment adequate, he is not obliged to collect the goods. If the carrier deems the goods adequate at the time of collection, he signs a " transport and goods acceptance " note or an " accompanying invoice ", these documents state: "when goods and packaging are deemed adequate, the carrier releases us from any liability for damage caused by transport ”.
In the event of damage , even if the recipient considers the packaging insufficient, any dispute will be rejected.
The carrier certifies, by signing upon collection, that the goods are sufficiently packed and suitable to travel under his care.

The courier is also required to collect the goods from our delivery warehouse in Cambiago (MI), Via XXV Aprile 57 no later than 15 days from our acceptance of your request .

The collection will be agreed with an appointment and can be made:

  • from Monday to Friday: from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 15.30
  • Saturday: from 9.00 to 12.30.


In any case no later than 15 days from our acceptance of your request.
Even by agreeing a collection with your own courier, payment must be made according to the conditions set out in payments.


Deposit service and rules

If 15 days have elapsed, for uncollected goods for which collection in person or with your own courier was communicated, an additional daily storage cost of 5 euros + VAT will be charged for each item.
Example : for an object that is collected 20 days after the payment date, a deposit cost of 100 euros + VAT will be applied.
No storage costs are calculated for items collected within the 15 days indicated.

Attention

After more than 90 days of deposit, we reserve the right to cancel the sale; the sum paid will be refunded to us by deducting the costs of storage and processing .
The data necessary to make any refund must be communicated to us within 7 working days by traceable means (mail or registered letter with return receipt).
Failure to provide such data will not give the right to any refund.

INSURANCE RULES

In case of damage caused by the carrier, please contact us with confidence; we will take steps to give you compensation according to the applicable laws in force.
If at the time of unloading the goods, at your shipping address, you notice that there is damage to the packaging, we advise you, in the presence of the carrier, to take photos of the packaging before proceeding with opening it to check if the products inside were also damaged.
In case of damage to the products but not to the packaging, in order to better assess the extent of the damage, it is necessary to take photographs of the packaging and the goods themselves and send these photos to assistenzaclienti@dimanomano.it

The methods we use are as follows:

1. vector shipping : reimburses 1 euro per kg as per law 450 on transport.
Included in the packing and shipping costs indicated, in the event of damage, a refund of 1 euro per kg is calculated, as required by law 450 on vector transport.

2. optional insured shipping : refund the entire amount paid for the item.

If desired, it is possible to insure the shipment on the value of the goods. In case of damage, the total amount paid to us for the purchase will be refunded. It is a recommended mode in cases of expensive objects . In this case, the damaged goods must necessarily be returned.
If a damaged item is delivered, the customer must necessarily sign the waybill presented by the courier with reserve. Otherwise it will not be possible to make a claim for damages.
It is the buyer's full right to check the goods before picking them up .
