Tuscany Early XVIII Century

Baroque cantarano in walnut and walnut slab, Tuscany, early 18th century. Shaped top, uprights at 45° with architectural pilasters and applied festoons in carved and gilded wood. Front with 4 drawers, one of which in the band, non-coeval turned feet. Poplar interior. Small restorations; small defects in the carving of the pilasters.

Tyrol, Early XVIII Century

Spruce Baroque sideboard, Tyrol early 18th century. Architecturally moulded top and lower plinth, front with two doors each decorated with a pair of moulded cornices. Embellished with lozenge-engraved geometric elements and door leaf carved with ‘scale’ motif. Hinges and lock in wrought iron, the latter bearing engraved designs. Interior with fabric-covered tops.

Italy, XX Century

Baroque style tripod vase column, made of carved and gilded wood and resin, 20th century Italy. On a stylistic level, the column presents decorative motifs typical of the Baroque taste, such as winged cherubs, masks, cartouches and leaf elements. The putti, gracefully seated as if on a ledge, hold a festoon in their hands. Deficiencies in the carving and gilding.

Provencal double body sideboard with front in walnut and sides in fruit wood, France, early 19th century. Front with 4 doors decorated with panels, frames and carved twisted half columns. Body equipped with a pair of drawers in the band; paneling also on the sides. Restorations and replacements.

France, Mid XIX Century

Louis Philippe chair in mahogany, France, mid-19th century. Wavy rear legs, turned frustoconical front legs, carved and ending with wheels. Padded back and seat.

Nothern Italy, Early XVIII Century

Baroque chair in carved walnut, northern Italy, early 18th century. Back and seat in leather worked with non-coeval vegetal motifs, held in place by brass studs. Front carved folder replaced. One of the rear legs has a restoration.

Italy, XX Century

Rococo style lectern in richly carved and gilded wood, Italy 20th century. The carvings reproduce the typical rocaille-style motifs of the mid-eighteenth century, including curls, leafy elements, "C"-shaped volutes and ripples that recall sea foam. Adjustable in height. Deficiencies in the gilding. The bottom section needs cleaning.

Pair of rococo style armchairs in carved, lacquered, gilded and painted wood, Italy, early 20th century. Armrests ending in curls, wavy legs. Decorated with golden carvings in rocaille style and painted leaf and floral elements. Backs, sides and seats with cane; a seat to be restored. Backrests partially covered in fabric, seats with removable cushions.

Netherlands, Third Quarter of the XIX Century

Group composed of two different pairs of chairs in the Baroque style, Holland third quarter of the 19th century. Made of oak wood veneered in walnut briar, they have inlays in maple and other woods with small parts in ivory, the latter used both for the bird's eyes and in the petals of some flowers. The inlays are floral with vases on the open panels of the backrest. Wavy legs and back, claw and ball carved feet of a pair, removable seat cushions. This CITES document.

Late Renaissance Alto-Veneto walnut box, Italy early 17th century. Top with perimetric fret pattern, decorated internal border, front carved with fret pattern, phytomorphic spirals and central coat of arms motif. Crosspieces under the top missing, hinges replaced, feet added later.

Late Renaissance Alto-Veneto box made of stone pine and maple, Italy early 17th century. Top with sheet metal handle, front with indented perimeter frame and carvings with phytomorphic and floral motifs, central herringbone fret pattern, all on an engraved background. Top, back and bottom in stone pine, fronts in maple. Replaced lock.
