Circular Fashion in Action: “All You Can Wear”, an Event for Sustainability and Inclusion
The “All You Can Wear” initiative fits perfectly within Di Mano in Mano’s philosophy of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
This event not only celebrates circular fashion, but does so with a tangible commitment to ecology and sustainability. Every aspect of the event—from the setups to the clothing on offer—is carefully chosen to minimize environmental impact and promote reuse.
The 2,000 bags distributed during the event are examples of creativity and sustainability: handmade using vintage or end-of-series fabrics, each bag is a unique piece that combines fashion with respect for the environment. Half of these bags are the result of a collaboration with “tredicicm”, a project that enhances local, zero-kilometer craftsmanship by two young designers, Stefania Cifarelli and Gabriella Mondelli. The other half is produced by Taivè – Un Filo per l’Integrazione, an initiative by Caritas Ambrosiana that, since 2009, has promoted the employment inclusion of Roma families, demonstrating a social commitment alongside the ecological mission.
“All You Can Wear” is not just a fashion event, but a statement of intent: in its first edition, it helped prevent the emission of over 60 tons of greenhouse gases, showing how conscious consumer choices can truly make a difference and reaffirming the values of respect for the environment and for people that Di Mano in Mano proudly upholds.
