Oil painting on canvas. The large painting is set during the Exodus from Egypt and depicts a landscape with the strong influence of the classicist Nicolas Poussin. In fact, the artist of this painting may be one of his imitators such as Nicolas Pierre Loir or other French artists of his setting. Restored and relined, it shows losses of color. 17th century.

Oil on canvas. Undeciphered signature in the middle along the earthenware pot with lid and date. Fascinating composition with many quotes and references identifying the owner as an erudite or an academic. At the top left a false painting with the phrase: 'Ma fuori uscì la notte e il mondo ascose' taken from Gerusalemme Liberata by Torquato Tasso (canto 11, stanza LXXXII). Below the image of two players identified as 'Tradasso palatino' (Tradasso is the antique Italian name for double bass) and 'Guido da Sury'. Another phrase is written near the cat 'Aggiunge ora l'astuzia alla rapina' with clear reference to the cat trying to reach the hare hung at its side. The hare has a phrase too 'Nec dedit fuga salutem' with reference to its useless escape from the hunter. Above the two mercenaries a letter dedicated to 'Pisstoia- al sig. Gismondi (?)" o Giannoli(?)'. The composition is complemented by a lot of fruit, dishes and a roast chicken. The painting is presented in a beautiful coeval frame from Emilia Romagna. 1757.

Portrait of a rich woman with an elegan gown embellished with shown off jewels lined up on a vertical line that starting from her face, down her neck, richly dressed up with a glod neckless, has her center on the cameo on the woman's brest and goes down until the rings on her hands which pose is justified by the close fan that their're holding. Alredy resored and displayed in a frame.

The Holy Bishop

Oil on canvas. The Italian school. The holy franciscan of the type of habit, and the Bishop to declare the pastoral staff and the mitre on his right hand, is characterized however by a time attribute, the royal crown:a royal crown: it reminds us of San Ludovico d'angiò (1274-1297) , prince of the royal house of Anjou of Naples, franciscan friar and bishop of Toulouse, whose worship is widely diffused in France (Toulouse, Valencia, Marseille) and in Italy (Naples, Perugia, italy and Serravalle). The painting is presented in the first canvas. Has small drops of color and in need of cleaning.

Landscape with Figures and Cattle

Oil on panel. The flemish school. On the back there is the phrase of attribution to Nicholas Berchem. The subject introduced - a couple of shepherds with animals grazing in a mountain landscape rather arid, surmounted by a rocky point which well refer to an environment of the northern Europe - approaches to the production of the Dutch painter of the SEVENTEENTH century, specialised in pastoral scenes populated by characters with mythological or biblical figures. The painting is presented in a frame ridorata of the NINETEENTH century.

Genre Scene with Figures, Oil on Canvas, 18th Century

The scene with immature people takes place at the duty couter, probaby for a transit payment: the tax collector seems bored sitting under his tent while counting the money that the wayfarer gave him while outside his wife is waiting suffering for the large pregnant belly and is holding the horse by the bridles. The painting had been restored and comes with a gilded ancient wood frame.

The Risen christ appears to the Holy

Oil on canvas. The saint depicted is identifiable for the dress that she wears, as a member of the Carmelite Order; she is intent to listen to the Risen Christ, which is dominated by a riot of angels point to the sky, while an angel above the woman and he is the mediator of the message of Christ; below, an angel is holding something, not identifiable. Probably it is St. Teresa of Avila, reformer of the Carmelite Order, Doctor of the Church, who had several apparitions, and made the contemplation of Christ, the charism of her Order. The work, already restored and ritelata, is presented in the frame.

Domenico Paghini

The holy family

Pen drawing and watercolour on paper. In the lower right is the signature "Paghini inv." Paghini, a native of Venice, was formed artistically and worked in Udine, italy. He was a musician (talented cellist and a painter, and, in particular, painted with delicate views and glimpses, prospective, special, many villas and palaces in Friuli. The lower is its production of sacred art. The work presented is a sketch for a painting major. It is presented in the frame of the end' 800. At the back there is a label of provenance from an important private collection.

Landscape with Figures 19th Century

Oil on board. The pleasant composition shows a wide view above the north-european coustryside close to a poor farmhouse; in the foreground the farmer is taking a break with his family in the land. Down on the right there are a monogram JVG and the date 1647 that recall the painting of the flemish Jan Van Goysen, one of the most talented landscapes painters in Holland in teh 17th century to which the nineteenth-century artist inspired his painting. The painting come with frame from the beginning of the 20th century. On the back there is an importation tag to italy at the beginning of 20th century.
