Description : Matrice xilografica
In carved wood. Two phrases in Latin, framing the scene at the base ("Felix qui potuit rerum cognoscere causam") and top ("Omnes imperio meo"); in the centre, a panoply of inventions of genius, with a young sorcerer's apprentice surrounded by the figures of devils. This is an ironic criticism to the research rational and scientific, which enables a man to keep all things under your control.
