Description:
A pair of perfume holders, porcelain with embossed ornaments on the base and the ampulla. The stuatuettes depict a pair of nobles. Engravings and writing Jacob Mordecai (known as Jacob Petit) under the base. He was born and died in Paris, manufacturer of French porcelain during the 19th century. Manufactured in France, second half of the 19th century.

Jacob Petit enters as a student in the studio of the painter Antoine-Jean Gros, a disciple of Jacques-Louis David. Attracted from china, became part of the manufactory of Sèvres, in 1822.
