Founded in Arosio in 1961, the Sormani was among the first companies to produce furniture with working techniques cutting-edge and experiment with new materials, such as brazilian rosewood, lacquered, plastic and aluminium. In the course of the years he has collaborated with the most important Italian designers of the TWENTIETH century, such as Joe Colombo, Carlo De Carli, Jonathan De Pas, Donato D Urbino, Paolo Lomazzi, Gianni Songia, Gio Ponti, Studio A. R. D. I. T. I. and Claudio Salocchi among others. It has developed projects that have become true icons of design as the daybed GS 195, the chest of drawers DC 154, the Rotoliving Unit and the floor lamp Bridge Floor.Time: 1960s
