Sterling silver centerpiece, engraved ornaments depicting flower compositions. Corrugated and perforated edge with volutes with leaves, nests of flowers, ribbons and garlands. Brand of silver at the bottom. 1908 grams. Manufactured in the USA, 20th century.

The Gorham Manufacturing Company was founded by Jabez Gorham in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. His son John Gorham introduced methods of mechanized production, enlarged the premises in downtown Providence, and expanded the line of products. In 1852, the Gorham visited many of the laboratories and producers of silver in Europe.
