Oil on canvas with monogram LD in the lower right corner and the name Luigi Deleidi written as attribution or signature on the back on the structure. The artist from Bergamo specialized in landscapes and was given the nickname Il Nebbia (The Fog) because of his paintings characterized by a light chromatic fog and due to the numerous works depicting winter landscapes. The painting was 2 cm smaller in origin and it was amended with an evident expansion of the drawing on the right and the lower sides to adjust to a series of gouaches of the late 18th century named "Le Allegorie delle stagioni" (The Allegories of seasons), probably because the painting representing winter had been lost. Original frame of the late 1700s. First half of the 19th century.
