Description : Scena d'interno con figure

Oil on canvas. The scene, which is set in a tavern, sees in the foreground a young woman who flow from a pot of steaming soup to a man, the clothing a representative of the petty bourgeoisie, sitting in front of the fireplace where a fire burns lively. On the frame at the back there are written ancient that probably identify the first owner in Mattia Onorai, bergamasco, who was a farmer in Lauriano at the Count Bernardino Morra, Lauriano (1769-1851). He was the son of the first earl Morra of Lauriano, a town in the province of Turin, where still stands the castle, abandoned and in a state of decay. Restored and ritelato.
