Monochrome painting on porcelain plate. At the bottom right there is the signature A. Barbero and the date 1864. The painting, monochromatic in the manner of a sculptural group, offers the dramatic scene of the deposition of Jesus from the Cross and the weeping over his body of his mother Mary, pious women and of Nicodemus. The painting is presented in a coeval gilt frame.

Along the perimeter there is a neogothic styled frame made with pastille and mission gilded. Needs cleaning and restoration works.

The lower part is grafted to the candle holder arm taht is painted and engraved as a forearm in which hand ther is the light that has a shear plate support with leafy motifs.
