Description

Large chest of drawers, blunt pyramidal feet. Three doors and 21 drop-leaf drawers blocked by the latch of the uprights. Slabbed with different species with maple inlays. Manufactured in Italy, first half of the 20th century.

It is widely used in cabinet making both as a solid wood for entire furniture, and for inlays, veneers and decorations. As it is very hard, it is also suitable for round work and for the manufacture of small objects.
