Oil on hard-covered canvas, unreadable signature and date 1921 in the lower right corner. Copy of good quality from the original painting 'L'Edera' (Ivy) by Tranquillo Cremona. It was the last painting of the artist, master of Scapigliatura. The painting depicts a couple passionately entwined. The title recalls the branch of ivy to the right and it refers to the depicted hug as well. In coeval frame of the early 20th century.
