Tempera on canvas. Recent reproduction of the models of the Qing period (1644-1911). The woman is depicted from the front in her traditional position: sitting with the hands on her lap. A series of ideograms on her side. Life-size painting enclosed within an impressive frame, red lacquered. Manufactured in China, 20th century.
