The volume was preserved in a casket with the lid, the graphic Collection of the Artistic-Calligraphic, which is in poor condition

Description:
The spectacular rate of handwriting of a young student of the College of the Sisters of Charity of Monza, dedicated to parents: an Anthology of Moral with songs from various sources to illustrate the virtues and concepts in alphabetical order (two for each letter) is the pretext for the composition of the pages that bring together essays calligraphy with a variety of characters and styles and beautiful decorations marginal pen-and-ink drawings, all caps, friezes). The work was presented at the Exhibition Beatrice - National Exhibition of Works of Women, in Florence, May-June 1890, as evidenced by a label to the contropiatto front. The author of this masterpiece is an important figure in the company Monzese on horseback between the NINETEENTH and the TWENTIETH century: born in 1867, Giulia Scotti bride in 1886, the industrial Ernesto Canesi, vice-president of the local section of the Red Cross. Just inside of this institution Giulia is a its role as a member of the women's Section of the Committee monzese in 1910, at the outbreak of the First World War, assumed the chair of the Office for News to Military Families of the Earth and of the Sea; Giulia Scotti, as a lady visitor at the hospitals of the city, organizes since may 1915 the collection of the lists of the sick and injured in order to inform their families and return them with minimum relief. These years, remains an important collection of letters, a testimony of how much there was of the war in our cities
