Tempera and gold on board. High quality work inspired by the construction of Polittico di Monticchiello by Pietro Lorenzetti made approximately in 1315: the work reproduces the pictorial and descriptive style of such set of paintings on board by the artist from Siena. The painting can be considered an excellent proof of the Falsari school from Siena founded by Federico Joni (1866-1946) which depicted mostly the figure of the Madonna of high quality. The painting is presented in double frame (the interior frame is coeval). 19th century.
