Description : Volatili nel giardino

Tempera on canvas. The painting depicts the garden of a villa with some chickens and a parrot watching them from the branch of a tree. The bright colors of the birds' feathering stand out on the green background of the garden. The painting is in original canvas with some losses of color. It's presented in beautiful coeval lacquered frame with some missing parts. 17th century.
