Oil on canvas. Originally there was the name of the portraited woman on the upper left corner but now is partially erased. The woman is the wife of Gaetano Negri, waters' General Secretary ate the biginning of 19th century, brother of the famous Antonio Paolo Negri, coming from a rich family of the Abbiatese's middle class, living in Cassinetta di Lugagnano. The portrait of the woman comes paired with his husband's portrait. It had alredy been restored and comes with a coeval engraved and gilded frame.
