Description : Paesaggio con fiume e figure

Oil painting on canvas. The wide landscape depicts a small river in the middle of the woods with a waterfall crossed by a bridge made of stone. Some popular figures are walking toward the bridge: the man with the donkey on the right and the two wanderers on the left. On the background you can see a bigger bridge over a wider river near some houses. Original canvas with signs of a previous restoration (some patches on the back) and some losses of color. Coeval frame, gilded anew. 18th century.
