Oil on canvas. Signed at the bottom right. Another title and date on the back. Giuseppe Ajmone was an artist from Valsesia that studied at the Brera Academy of Milan; he was one of the ones that signed the Manifesto of Realismo in 1946. Along with still lives and landscapes that dominate his first artistical period, Ajmone was interested to the nudes that had defined most of his pictorial production since 1960s. Displayed in frame.

Painting on fabric made with succo d'erba technique. Inside a trompe l'oeil frame decorate with a motif of flowers and fruit had been painted a copy of the face of " Madonna del Cardellino" of Raffaello Sanzio, made in 1506 and today preserved at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Fair conditions.

Female Portrait

Oil on canvas. Signed bottom right. Additional signature on the framing in the back. Intense portrait of a female figure, portrayed from behind, with her face seen in profile, standing in an empty corner of the house, in front of a wall, decorated with only a small oval portrait. It is painted with broad strokes, with a minimal definition of the outlines, enhanced with the only colour range of light blues and greys, that fade the one into the others, almost without a solution of continuità. It is a large rare piece of the young and genious artist from Munich, famous for his activity as an illustrator and a graphic designer: during his short creative phase, Carl Kunst drew numerous posters, advertising stamps, illustrated books; the advertising stamps series for Roals Amundsen's trip to the South Pole and the series of postcards with Munich attractions are very popular. The painting is presented in a coeval frame.

Oil on canvas. Signed at the bottom right. Another signature with title and date on the back. Delicate and calm rapresentation of a paesant maternity with a royal appearance, nearly sacral. GIan Giacomo dal Forno was a painter, sculptor, medallist and decorator, an artist born in Catania and artistically trained in Milan where he taught for several years at the art schools; thanks to his art pieces he got several awards. His painting had been defined as "elaborated of matter, delicate of tones"; his images full of poetry nearly fantastic, were made elegant and spontanous throught an harmonious balance of few chosen tones.
