Description : Madonna con Bambino

Oil on canvas. The painting is an obvious homage to the taste of the renaissance, and in particular to the painting of Raphael: the Madonna, seated on a chair, holding affectionately to the Child, who clings to her, resting a cheek against that of the mother; in the background, a landscape just mentioned. The painting, still in the first canvas and original frame, is presented in a beautiful golden frame coeval, carved with floral decorations.
