Description

Oil on masonite. Signed on the lower left corner. "S.Virgilio and date 1967" written on the back. Angelo Fiessi, born in Brescia, had alway been connected to his home town and to the areas around the Iseo Lake that he visited for a long time; landscapes painter that dedicated most of his production recalling his beloved places and the emotions that those caused, permeating his painting with poetry and kindness. The represented location, a farmhouse with relaxing areas, is facing the lake and is overlooked by the mountains in the background and must be a beloved Brescian location; the mentionated S. Virgilio is Brescia's protector and solemnly celebrated in Iseo. The painting comes with frame.
