Born in Venice in 1933, Franco Costalonga was part of the group Dialectics of the tendencies and of the group of Seven-veneto study group connected with the operational center Management, under the chairmanship of Bruno Munari. After a debut as a incisoreed acquafortista, and a painting of paintings that reflect a research based on the theory of color, from the second half of the 60s he used in his works new materials, obtaining in this way the original surfaces, which generate three-dimensional shapes. Are these the searches that lead him to approach the group of Seven-the Veneto, in which Costalonga has a way to deepen his interests in the field of the effects of the kinetic and the visual, which lead him to create a series of new works. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions national and international and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
