Oil on cardboard. Signed lower right. On the back this label with description. Roman painter, engraver and watercolorist, belonging to the circle of Roman followers of Mariano Fortuny, he is known for a style characterized by the mixture of genuine realism and pleasantness of touch, flickering and lively. His pictorial production has ranged from life painting to the genre scene, also touching the portrait. The proposed work is a small study for a procession, a theme he then tackled in several works. The painting is inserted in a passepartout without a frame.
