Description : Cristo Risorto appare ad una Santa

Oil on canvas. The represented Saint can be identified by her tunik to be part of the Carmelite order; she's listening to Risen Christ who's overlooked by a group of angels while pointing to the sky, while the and angel is overlooking the woman and act as mediator of Christ's message; down a small angel is offering something to her. Probably she's S. Teresa from Avila, reformer of Carmelite Order, Church Scholar, that had several apparitions and made of Christ's contemplation the charisma of her Order. Restored and displayed in frame.
