Description

Big round elm coffe table dated back to Mid-19th century. Central tuned baluster supported by three carved legs. Elm burl veneered band and top; rose window in the middle of the top inlaid with marple phytomorphic patterns. Need restoration works.

Product Condition:
The item shows signs of wear due to age. Any damage or loss is displayed as completely as possible in the pictures. It may require restoration and recovery of french polish.

Very hard and compact wood, which comes from ulmus campestris . It is distinguished by its reddish brown color. It was mainly used for rustic furniture in France, Holland and Scandinavia. In England, however, it was also used a lot in inlay work.
