Claudio Salocchi (1934 - 2012), designer and architect in the field of industrial design for the creation of specific products for the optimization of the home space. In the 1960s, Claudio Salocchi established a collaboration with Luigi Sormani, a designer who founded the design company of the same name in '61. In 1979 he obtained the "Compasso D'Oro" for Metrosistema, which deals with kitchen furnishings for homes for Alberti Arredamenti Cucine.Production: Sormani
Founded in Arosio in 1961, the Sormani was among the first companies to produce furniture with working techniques cutting-edge and experiment with new materials, such as brazilian rosewood, lacquered, plastic and aluminium. In the course of the years he has collaborated with the most important Italian designers of the TWENTIETH century, such as Joe Colombo, Carlo De Carli, Jonathan De Pas, Donato D Urbino, Paolo Lomazzi, Gianni Songia, Gio Ponti, Studio A. R. D. I. T. I. and Claudio Salocchi among others.
