Oil on canvas. School north-european. Signature not identifiable in the bottom left of the page. The scene refers to the classical myth of Adonis, the beautiful young hunter of which you fell in love with the same goddess, Venus, which is completely bowled over, followed him in the woods and in the woods while hunting, trying to protect him from dangers, and from the beasts; he could not, however, save it because Adonis was eventually mauled and killed by a wild boar.
