Additional Information

Neo-baroque (1860-1890):
Advance in England in the first half dell'800, on reminiscences of the elizabethan, is back in vogue in the 1870s, but interpreted in a way very free. Represents the beginning of a response to the frivolity of the neorococò, but will expire soon in the pompous and eclectic style that combines strict elements of the sixteenth-century decorations sculturee of the first '600. The furniture is massive, richly carved, and carved, wooden dark patina. Masks, frames, columns, carved with busts that make up the architectural structures typical of the palaces of the renaissance, are the elements that characterize the neo-renaissance style. It was a period which saw the revival and the revival of ancient forms, from the typical taste of the renaissance, one used large notches for an all round vision, more deep and three dimensional, the use of the paws feral in the chests and closets, baseboards and moldings, picture frames, outlined wetting treatments and unghiature, ornamental motifs of the romanesque, but also acanthus leaves, cartouches and lion heads. Often in this period the furniture is costuiti using antique materials and furniture pieces from the renaissance. It was often used walnut, but also lesser essences as hard as poplar or others as often they were darkened and presented in the color black.
