Oil on canvas. Signed on the lower left corner. Glimpse of a room with wall bookcase full of books in the backgrounf of a vase of Scotch brooms on the table. Renato Alessandrini comes frome the Nello Alessandrini family. He was refined engraver ( he attended the Engraving Class at the Academy of Drawing Arts of Florence) that brought the cleanliness and elegance that distinguishes his graphic work to his paintings. He was a painter, geat portraitist, fine engraver that showed a precise aptitude for the study of figure and nature and an accurate analitycal skill on reality catching the essence of things. The painting comes with frame.
