Description : Giovane santa in contemplazione

Oil on canvas. The young Saint is represented wearing her religious dress and her head is surrounded by a crowns of thorns: this iconographic sign recalls St. Caterina from Siena that at the age of 18 joined the order of the Dominican Mantellate which dress she is waring. The painting is presented in a gilded coeval frame with some missing parts.
