Oil on canvas. Singend at the bottom right. On the back of the canvas there are the title and a label of participation in a exhibition. Pietro Leid was a painter from Brescia, born deaf-mute and artistically trained first in Lugano by Luigi Rossi and then at the Academy of Florence. Back in Brescia he opened his atelier and became part of the " Group of the Indipendent Artists" of the city. He is mostly known as a landscapes painter that created landscapes with bright skies, stronghly built and corolful close-ups; recurrente are the glimpses of his land of origins and the Alps. His paintings are collected in several important private and public collections in Milan, Cremona, Paris, Genoa, Venice and Brescia. Unique and unusual is the theme of the painting: a young male figure leaning against a wall and veined with a melancholy note or better with a nostalgic note, as said by the title. Several drops of color. displayed in frame.
