Designed by William Gardner for Wilson Marshall, this sailing ship was built by the Townsend and Downey shipyards. Beautiful monocoque three-masted schooner, Atlantic participated in 1905, in the Kaiser's Cup, transatlantic naval regatta. It took 12 days, 4 hours, 1 minute and 19 seconds to cross the Atlantic. This record lasted for 75 years, beaten only in 1980, by the trimaran Paul Ricard.Material:
