La stampa è un processo per la produzione di testi e immagini, tipicamente mediante l'impiego dell'inchiostro su carta e di una pressa da stampa. Spesso viene svolto come processo industriale su larga scala ed è una parte essenziale dell'editoria.

Technical specification: Aquatint (Cable Engraving)

The aquatint is a technique of indirect engraving on metal (copper or zinc), which consists in enriching a matrix (printing) of tones of light and dark. It is a supplementary etching. Sprinkle the slab of dust of bitumen or rosin, is heated slightly so that it connects to the merger so that at the time of etching may be corroded with only the spaces between the grains of powder, producing a rough surface (type of granite) that will retain the ink depending on the type of etching that has been made. Achieved the texture you will draw in the negative. The parts that you want white to be covered with paint. With aquatint, you can do, even in a same matrix, graniture using different powders of different sizes and with repeated morsure.
