The 80's

A set of armchairs designed by Giotto Stoppino (1926-2011), Lodovico Meneghetti (1926) and Vittorio Gregotti (1927) for Sim. Multilayered lacquered wood, foam padding and fabric upholstery. Model: Cavour. Manufactured in Italy, 1980s.

France Mid 19th century

Rococo style sofa in gilded wood with leaf, France mid 19th century. Padded back and seat, wavy legs ending in a curl. Decorated with rocaille carvings and phytomorphic motifs.

France Late 19th - Early 20th century

Empire style daybed in mahogany, France, late 19th - early 20th century. Padded back, armrests and seat. Decorated with gilt bronze applications typical of the French Empire taste.

XIX Century - from 1801 to 1900

Neoclassical style sofa supported by truncated conical legs tightened by a collar at the top and connected to the band by a connecting nut carved in a rose window; entirely carved and gilded. The seat and the raised backrest are lined with the original nineteenth-century tapestries, depicting genre scenes with animals and characters playing. The tapestries were specially made for the sofa, as evidenced by the correspondence with the ornamental drapery.
