Watercolor on cardboard. Signed lower right. On the back, the title and the words "Dono dell'Arice, April 1954" with signature. Nella Massione, an artist from Bergamo, wife of the painter Giulio Cisari, trained at the Brera Academy in Milan, where she exhibited her first painting in 1917, when she was only 13 years old. He has set up personal exhibitions in Italy, France and England, achieving good critical and public success and winning several national and international awards. In collaboration with her husband, she won the competition for the billboard of the 20th Venice Biennale and the one for the decoration of the New York maritime station. Technically she distinguished herself above all in the use of watercolor.
