Beautiful nineteenth-century edition of Tassoni's poem, edition based on that of Soliani of 1744, as indicated in the title page, embellished with an elegant binding. Portrait of the author in the front door. The text of the poem is preceded by the News about the life of Alessandro Tassoni of Cav. Girolamo Tiraboschi. At the end of the volume a chapter dedicated to the various lessons of the Ms and the Explanations of some voices and passages of the kidnapped Secchia.
