Nato a Adria il 13 marzo 1950. Nel 1968 inizia gli studi alla facoltà di architettura dell'Università di Venezia e si occupa di ricerche nel campo visuale. In seguito partecipa a numerose mostre personali e collettive. Nel 1970 collabora alla realizzazione del progetto per il concorso "WIG 74" per conto della città di Vienna ed al concorso sul monumento alla resistenza della città di Modena. Frequenta l'Università Internazionale dell'Arte a Venezia. Nel 1970 si occupa di design industriale. Nel 1973 studia alla facoltà di architettura a Venezia e si laurea con una tesi incentrata sulla storia di Vienna tra il 1918 e il 1934. Nel 1975 collabora con l'Istituto di Storia e Architettura di Venezia e con l'Akademie für Angewandten Kunst di Vienna alla realizzazione di una grande mostra sulla Vienna del periodo socialista. Questa ricerca sfocerà nel 1980 nella mostra richiesta dal comune di Roma "Vienna rossa". Nel 1980 su incarico del Kuwait progetta l'ambasciata del Kuwait nel Quatar e in Italia alcune architetture. Nel 1981 progetta l'allestimento di alcune catene di negozi di abbigliamento. Nel 1983 è invitato ad una serie di conferenze al P.D.C. di Los Angeles e si occupa del concorso di idee per la ristrutturazione del "Lingotto FIAT" di Torino. Nel 1985 progetta la ristrutturazione della sede centrale della "C.Jourdan" a Parigi. Nel 1986 progetta la ristrutturazione di "Palazzo Remer" a Venezia. Nel 1987 è segnalato al XIII Premio Compasso d'Oro. Dal 1988 è professore associato all'Akademie für Angewandten Kunst di Vienna e dal 1991 è professore ordinario.
