Born in Verona in 1923, Sergio Dino Chesini began his artistic studies at a young age with Vittorio Tremante and Pino Casarini, but then continued as a self-taught. He then went to France attracted by the works of Maurice De Vlaminck, attracted above all by his lyricism. He began to exhibit in various art exhibitions in Italy, achieving good success. He then left for America, also achieving great success there, thanks to his works of social content: for years in fact he portrayed, in a conspicuous cycle of works, Mesoamerica and South America, with life scenes full of characters and local colors. .
