Description

Elm wood torch holder, Italy 19th century. Corolla holder in embossed sheet metal, resting on a ribbed band, rodentate stem ending with a leafy carving placed above a turned vase with applied festoons in a neoclassical style. The structure is supported by legs richly carved with scrolls and foliaceous elements, ending with feral feet. Shortcomings in the carving.
