Internal cabinet with open compartments and drawers, leather insert on the top. Bracket feet, brass escutcheons, and partially replaced handles in worked and gilded sheet metal, one of which is damaged. Fir interior and back. England, late 18th century.

Piedmontese drop-leaf secretaire supported by shelf shaped feet; it has 3 frontal drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides drawers and a central open compartment. Veneered wood with Bois de violette threads, poplar interiors and walnut internal compartments.
