Vintage Bookcase Walnut with Shelves Design Italy 1940s-1950s

Modular wall bookcase made with elements from the "Life" series in grey lacquered wood with flap and hinged opening with internal glass shelves. In the central part plexiglass shelves from the "Night&Day" series. Possibility of lighting only the containers, only the shelves or both. Furniture in very good condition that shows some signs of aging as visible in the photos.

19th Century / 1801 - 1900

French Empire bookcase, supported by feet, the front ones vase shaped. There are two panelled doors on the front, surmounted by the same amount of drawers in the under the top band, open shelf with a rack. Spotted mahogany veneer, it is decorated with brassed framings, the interiors are in sessile oak.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Neoclassical chest of drawers in walnut and walnut burl, with various wood trim and inlays. The front features four drawers, the first two of which are side by side, under the top. The legs are truncated pyramids, while the interior is poplar. The escutcheons and handles are wrought bronze. Italy, late 18th century.

Pair of vintage wall units of Italian manufacture from the 20th century. Notable for their architectural forms, the first consists of three compartments with hinged doors, internal glass shelf and green cloth on the front, the second of three compartments with hinged doors and drawers. In teak and mahogany. Good condition.

Elegant buffet cabinet made in Cantù with mahogany veneer worked in diamond patterns on the doors, transparent glass top.

Central Italy, XVII Century

Baroque walnut and crotchet chest of drawers with maple and olive wood trim. Three-drawer curved front, drop-leaf upper door, four-drawer internal cabinet, and central open compartment with sliding shelf underneath, concealing secret internal drawers. Gilded bronze keyholes, one of which is missing, bracket feet, fir interior and back. Central Italy, 17th century.

Veneto, Mid XVIII Century

A late Baroque walnut and walnut crotchet drop-leaf chest with rosewood trim. The curved front features three drawers, while the upper drop-leaf door features an internal cabinet with two drawers surmounted by open compartments. The central door has a sliding shelf underneath, concealing secret drawers. The handles and escutcheons are chiseled and gilded bronze, while the feet and apron are curved and carved. Veneto, mid-18th century.

XIX Century

Sideboard veneered in maple, walnut, and mahogany. Curved front doors with a central inlay of various woods depicting musical instruments, notched sides with three open shelves, and turned feet. Engraved and gilded bronze moldings and appliqués throughout. England, 19th century.

Teak veneered sideboard with sliding doors. Very good condition, restored.

Italy, Mid XX Century

1950s living room furniture made by the artist Rino Galbiati. Architectural furniture with an ethnic taste, it has doors in the lower part, hidden drawers in the central band and in the raised open compartment and four doors with painted glass. The entire surface is carved with different motifs of geometric Greeks that chase each other, on the doors are carved scenes with fantastic animals, all the carving is reinforced by a green pictorial line.
