Open walnut desk with alternating ebony, maple, and walnut trim. Designed for a double workstation, it features a central drawer on the under-counter top, two side drawers on the right, and two false drawers on the left. Turned legs, poplar and fir interior. Italy, 20th century.

The under-top band features successive maple inlaid festoons and a central medallion with a Roman soldier and laurels. Four tapered legs with gouges, leaf carvings, and gilded feet. Top with slats supported by side fins, a pair of drawers and opposing false drawers in the lower section, lyre-shaped legs joined by a crosspiece and resting on curved feet culminating in bronze cups shaped like feline paws.
