A copy in good condition, in a browned hardback slipcase with traces of dust and signs of wear. Paperback contained within a hardback jacket with title on the spine; spine faded with light abrasions. Paperback with double dust jacket, one transparent and one paper jacket. Uneven side and bottom edges with foxing. Papers in excellent condition, with margins, with slightly uneven edges. Foxing on the first endpaper. Text in Italian.

Description
This edition of Cavalcanti's "Rime" was set by hand in William Caslon's 24-point italic type for the text and 16-point roman for the Introduction. A total of 550 copies were printed, divided as follows: 3 on Scottish parchment, marked A, B, and C, and bound in Paris; 10 on Japanese Kaji nacré and 20 on Japanese Hosho, numbered in Roman numerals; and 517 copies on Ventura di Cernobbio paper, numbered in Arabic numerals. It was released from the Tallone presses in Alpignano on June 28, 1968. Ours is copy no. 156.
