Majolica bowl with a looped handle and a monochrome blue floral decoration. The stylistic rendering clearly places this piece in Liguria.

Spain, Late XVIII Century

A triangular-shaped polychrome majolica spice box with three basins. Decorated with shrubs and lion masks in relief. The piece's stylistic features suggest it is typical of the town of Talavera de la Reina. No hallmark.

Southern Italy, XVIII Century

Polychrome majolica inkwell and powder shaker, both cubic in shape. White glaze with polychrome blue and yellow decoration. The upper edge is outlined in yellow. The sides feature a repeating decorative motif with a stylized flower set within a reserve framed by yellow and blue lines. The workmanship is rustic.

Oval majolica tray, with expanded rim, shaped profile and light cord. High-fire decoration in monochrome, in shades of cobalt blue on a white background. A decorative motif with swirls of leaves interspersed with festoons with a trellis motif runs along the brim. A bouquet of flowers in the center. Decoration called "a Rouen". Northern Italy, probably Lodi area.

France, Late XVIII Century

Ligurian-made majolica jug with globular body, expanded rim and spout. Spool handle. The jug is decorated in polychrome with a plant motif and a male figure with a hat.

Padua Second Half XVIII Century

Small marble bust placed on a circular base, depicting an old woman with typical physiognomic features; the shoulders are surrounded by a drapery, while the head is covered by a cap. Sculpture can be compared to the inventions of Antonio Bonazza; in particular the pungent and ironic interpretation, the freshness of the passages, the recurrence of tense but not grotesque somatic features, as well as the adoption of engraved orbits, are characteristics of the production licensed by the artist and his atelier. In particular, interesting comparisons are possible with the famous Fattucchiera (Pollastrella) of Villa Widmann in Bagnoli di Sopra (1742). Present small lacks and abrasions, especially in correspondence of the nose; a re-composition affects the base.

Austria Late 18th century

Coffee pot in white porcelain with polychrome decoration with bunches of flowers and scattered flowering twigs. Brand of the manufacture under the base.

The bust portrays a noble woman, richly dressed. Certainly a portrait, as can be seen from the detailed physiognomic characteristics of the face; the depicted subject has a stern gaze and attitude, an element that characterizes the portrait sculpures of the time. The hair are tied on the back of her head in an elaborate hairstyle with braids. The neck is adorned with a necklace with a medallion in the centre and multiple strings of pearls. She is wearing an off-the-shoulder dress, refined with a thin lace hem and a bow in the middle of her chest. The sculptor has great skills with the use of a chisel to refine details and the texture of fabrics.
