Italy, Mid XVIII Century

A mid-18th century Baroque drop-leaf chest of drawers. Made of fir and poplar and clad in walnut with large burl veneer inserts. Curved at the front and supported by curved feet, it features two drawers and a drop-leaf door containing a cabinet with four smaller drawers and an open compartment concealing a secret. The back has been replaced, but the locks are original.

Piedmontese walnut drop-leaf desk with floral inlays and maple scrolls and olive wood frames. Internal cabinet composed of a pair of lateral drawers and a central open compartment concealing various secrets. Drawer under the top, wavy legs, goat feet with reinforcements in the two on the left, poplar interiors. Chiseled and gilded bronze escutcheons. Italy, mid-18th century.

Baroque drop-leaf chest supported by wavy feet, on the wavy front it has three drawers plus one smaller one, surmounted by a drop-leaf door concealing a cabinet with small drawers. Veneered in briar with maple fillets, the interiors are in poplar and fir. It has undergone subsequent restorations and modifications: originally it was a trumeau from which the riser was removed.

Chinoiserie style drop-leaf desk in lacquered, painted and gilded wood, Italy 20th century. Decorated on the front and sides with scenes of daily life and floral elements of oriental taste. Front with drop-leaf door concealing a cabinet and a pair of drawers. Walnut interior.

Walnut drop-leaf chest with olive wood panels and maple and cherry trim. The upper drop-leaf door conceals an internal cabinet with five guilloche-framed drawers and five open compartments. The front features two drawers with replaced handles, bracket feet, and poplar interior. Central Italy, 18th century.

England, Late XVIII Century

Walnut drop-leaf chest with filleting and a central maple inlaid vase. Front with four drawers, the first, smaller one, flanked by two shelf-supporting pulls for the drop-leaf door. Internal cabinet with open compartments and drawers, leather insert on the top. Bracket feet, brass escutcheons, and partially replaced handles in worked and gilded sheet metal, one of which is damaged. Fir interior and back. England, late 18th century.

Mahogany trumeau. Stand with beveled glass door and molded top, three height-adjustable shelves inside. Central drop-down door supported by pull-out drawers, leather insert on the interior shelf, seven open letter compartments and six small drawers with wrought bronze knobs. Base with four drawers, bronze handles and flush escutcheons, and bracket feet. England, mid-19th century.

Genoa, Mid XVIII Century

Walnut drop-leaf chest. Three-drawer front, the first of which is in the band under the top. Drop-leaf door conceals an internal cabinet with six drawers and open compartments. Bois de rose trim along the entire surface. Some losses. Genoa, mid-18th century.

Trentino Mid XIX Century

Walnut drop-leaf, maple and walnut fillets along the entire surface. Front with three drawers, central tripartite drop-leaf top, concealing two drawers and open compartments, flanked by a pair of drawers and secret compartments. Bracket feet, bronze knobs and escutcheons, fir interiors. Trentino, mid-19th century.

Third Quarter XVIII Century

Secrétaire supported by wavy feet, on the front it has two doors surmounted by an opening flap door concealing a cabinet with large central compartment and side drawers; there is a drawer in the undertop band. Walnut interior, it is entirely veneered with mahogany reserves and edging in bois de violette and bois de rose, the cabinet is entirely veneered in bois de rose; marble top. It needs restorations.

Piedmont, Mid XVIII Century

A Piedmontese Baroque walnut chest of drawers dating back to the mid-18th century, featuring exquisite inlaid workmanship. The drawer fronts feature a curved structure with elegant scroll-inlaid maple inserts and carob and maple trim, creating a refined interplay of contrasts. The top is embellished with a central floral and leaf inlay, featuring butterflies and beetles. The sides are decorated with leaf-like scroll inlays and floral motifs, which blend harmoniously with the curved uprights and bracket feet, lending stability and elegance.
