Lombardy Early 18th Century

Baroque console table in basswood, Lombardy Early 18th century. Marbled molded top, shaped under-top band and uprights, connecting crosspieces. The richly carved console table has reserves, phytomorphic and floral decorations, leafy and “C”-shaped volutes, curls and frets; in the upper part of the uprights mirrored leafy volutes support lambrequins. In the center of the underside band we find a basket containing flowers and plant branches, while just below, in the center of the transom, is a basket containing a fruit and leaves, set within an architecture of volutes with crowned cyma. Replaced top, restorations. This console table is a fine example testifying to the influence of French taste on Lombard Baroque.

Baroque walnut console table. Trapezoidal top resting on a pair of refectory legs supported by molded central buttresses. Openwork legs. Italy, late 17th/early 18th century.

Elegant Italian-made console table in mahogany veneer with a drawer under the top embellished with a brass handle and legs with turned tops. Restored.

Console with Vise

Work shelf with vice, in solid oak with the vice in wrought iron and turned. Fixed with simple cleaning and waxing in a conservative perspective by our laboratories.

Wall console, in enamelled metal, brass and back-treated glass.

Piacenza, Late XVIII Century

Neoclassical center desk in walnut, Piacenza, last quarter of the 18th century. Top in solid walnut inlaid with mahogany veneered and maple threaded fret. Drawer in the band, the latter decorated with frames, roughened truncated cone legs ending with spherical feet. Walnut and fir interior. Frame of one of the short sides missing.

Lombardy, Early XIX Century

Louis Philippe walnut table. Round white marble top, four opposing drawers in the lower band, turned central leg, and tripartite uprights featuring a double facing bracket, resting on a molded base with underlying casters. Cherry interior, missing parts. Lombardy, first half of the 19th century.
