Tuscany Third Quarter XVIII Century

Openable game table in English Baroque taste, open finished, veneered in walnut and striped walnut, Tuscany third quarter of the 18th century. Shaped openable top threaded in maple, equipped with green cloth insert, drawer in the band. Supported by five wavy legs with golf club-shaped feet, one of which can be opened like a compass to support the open surface. Poplar interior. Handle replaced.

Italy, Mid XVIII Century

Open bedside table in walnut with shaped and inlaid top, front with door bearing carved knob and wavy legs with carved feet. The entire structure is inlaid with bois de violette, bois de rose and maple. Italy 18th century.

Italy, Early XX Century

Bar trolley, made in the early 1900s; Brass structure with wheels and shelves and doors in mahogany and glass. The tray top can be raised while the sides open like a tray, on the top railing and brass sockets. Plate "abbrica Mobili artistici - ditta Bachi e Treves di Emilio Treves - via Carlo Alberto, 12 Turin". The company is one of the most popular at the beginning of the century in Turin, it also participates in the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative Art of 1902 in Turin.

19th Century / 1801 - 1900

Two George IV screen poles, supported by 3 curved legs, on which stands a refined baluster engaged with the pole that ends in a vase-shaped element. Two shield-shaped panels are fixed by rings and screws, so that their height can be adjusted. Made of citronnier, painted with phytomorphic motifs, the screens have embroidered fabric inserts. While in the 19th century pole screens had an ornamental function, in the 18th century they were used to shield the face from the direct heat of the fire, which could generate dangerous toxic reactions with white lead cosmetics (basic lead carbonate), widely used at the time by both men and women. The adjustable height allowed them to be customised according to the needs of the user, positioning them as a screen between their face and the fireplace.

Mahogany console table. Oval top with central inlay and frame featuring floral compositions in various woods, on a walnut burl base. Turned and carved central leg rests on four wavy feet carved with bas-relief curls and leaves. England, late 19th century.

Elegant 20th-century Italian-made wall-mounted console table made of stained beech wood with a rounded top, a small drawer, and three curved legs. This piece was restored in our workshop.

Neoclassical-style walnut console table. Top with maple frame, maple and bois de violette trim, central medallion, and inlaid corner fans. The under-top band features successive maple inlaid festoons and a central medallion with a Roman soldier and laurels. Four tapered legs with gouges, leaf carvings, and gilded feet.
