Cupboard with Showcase

Small sideboard with two doors and two drawers surmounted by a showcase with side shelves supported by thin turned uprights. The panels of the doors like those of the sides of the riser contain floral ceramics, in the center of the door with glass there is a bas-relief ceramic panel with the allegory of painting, this is an indecipherable signature, on the back the "Goldchelder Wien" brand , referable to the well-known Viennese ceramics factory and engraved with the numbers "0764 / 16 / 30&". The wavy feet, the cymatium, like the rest of the piece of furniture, have small "whiplash"carvings and carved florals, defined by gilding and lacquering. Brass-coated frames, hardware, worked in floral style with partly gilded copper sheet flowers and fruits.

Emilia 20th Century

Directoire cherry corner cabinet from Emilia, dating back to the early 19th century. The structure features a central paneled door, enhanced by a molding under the top, which enhances its geometric elegance. The pair of truncated pyramidal feet lends stability and a touch of classicism to the overall design. Inside, a shelf offers practical storage. Modifications attest to the corner cabinet's functional adaptations over time, while still retaining the original charm of the Directoire design.

Northern France, Second Half XIX Century

Elm burl secretaire. Base with three drawers plus one in the molding, surmounted by a drop-leaf door concealing a bois de rose cabinet, with an open compartment and a group of six drawers and two secret compartments. Leather insert on the inside of the drop-leaf, upper drawer in the band under the top, black marble top. Oak interior, plinth legs. Northern France, second half of the 19th century.

A pair of late Baroque-style bedside tables, made in Italy in the late 19th century. These pieces feature an open compartment beneath the top, ideal for storing small items or books. The doors are embellished with a central carving depicting a bird perched on a branch, a detail that enhances the already elaborate surface design. The curved sides and legs are decorated with leafy branches, lending the piece an organic and harmonious look. These bedside tables represent a typical example of the craftsmanship of the period, expressing an aesthetic that combines elegance and functionality.

Louis Philippe mahogany chest of drawers. Front with four drawers, the first of which is in the band below the top. Uprights with turned and carved half-columns. Turned legs. The top was added later, replacing the original marble top. Italy, second quarter of the 19th century.

Empire walnut chest of drawers. Three drawers in the front, the first of which is projecting, supported by truncated pyramidal columns with sphinx-shaped bases and capitals. Wavy legs, replaced escutcheons and handles. Fir interior. Veneto, first quarter of the 19th century.

Travel clock in bronze and beveled glass. Cylinder escapement movement and visible mechanism. Enamelled metal dial with Arabic numeral hours and minutes. Complete with winding key.

Small portable walnut bookcase. The upper balustrade is curved, as are the sides and bracketed feet. The side handles are in bronze with mask-shaped decorations. Italy, mid-19th century.

Corner cherry sideboard. Paneled doors topped with drawers, bracket feet set into the uprights. Later embellishments with floral, leafy, and scroll motifs, painted across the entire surface. The upper shelf requires gluing. Italy, second half of the 19th century.

Walnut cupboard. Central drawer supported by two side blocks consisting of a door surmounted by a drawer, a shelf with scrolled molding and a central carving. White marble tops, turned feet, fir and poplar interior. Some missing parts. Italy, late 19th century.

Walnut-stained lime wood coat rack, dating to the late 19th century, from Italy. The structure features six hangers arranged on two distinct levels. The first three hangers are supported by curved arms, while the other three are supported by turned arms, lending the piece a variety of stylistic details. The central shaft of the coat rack is also turned and rests on three curved feet, ensuring stability and a decorative touch. The ebonized moldings add an elegant color contrast. It should be noted that one element of the base has been replaced, while maintaining the functional integrity and overall aesthetic of the piece.

XIX Century

Sideboard veneered in maple, walnut, and mahogany. Curved front doors with a central inlay of various woods depicting musical instruments, notched sides with three open shelves, and turned feet. Engraved and gilded bronze moldings and appliqués throughout. England, 19th century.
