Pair of Empire cherry console tables. Marbled wood top added later, sub-top band with carved rosettes and successive gilded leaf moldings, four turned columnar uprights with Corinthian capitals and gilded bases, resting on a shaped base veneered with a herringbone motif, plinth feet with carved rosettes that match those on the band. Fir interiors. Originally, they had inset marble tops, and, likely, the turned cap at the center of the base was replaced by a sculptural vase.

Early Victorian English side table in mahogany and mahogany veneer. The four-part top opens halfway through two doors, concealing a compartment with a pair of drawers. When open, the two tops serve as a bookrest, thanks to the adjustable tilting rack. The top is also height-adjustable via a metal stop screw located on the fluted column. The contoured base rests on caster feet. Interior is mahogany and maple.
